Terms of Service
These terms explain what you and we each agree to when you use LifeOs at dankuku.com (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Daniel Tan Yi Tern, Malaysia; "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator. By signing in or continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of them.
What the Service is
LifeOs takes the birth date, time and place you provide, works through the rules of several traditional systems, and then uses software and a language model to write the results up as plain-language readings. It also offers tarot questions, growth tracking and monthly reviews.
- Readings are for self-reflection and reference only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice, and they do not guarantee that anything will happen. For questions about your health, medication, legal disputes, debt or personal safety, please go directly to a doctor, a lawyer or your local emergency services.
- Readings do not make decisions for you. Any choice you make after reading one is your own responsibility.
- Readings are generated automatically. They can be wrong, inconsistent, or simply not match your life. You can mark individual sentences as "that's me" or "not me"; those marks are used only to improve future readings and never rewrite the original result.
Your account
- You can sign in with a Google or Apple account. Please keep that account secure; anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission before making any payment.
- Please enter real birth details. To prevent abuse, the same birth record can be edited at most three times.
- You may create a profile for someone else only with that person's permission, and you must not use the results to harass, discriminate against or harm anyone.
Free allowance, subscriptions and credits
- Daily free allowance. Signed-in users get a free usage allowance every day, which resets at midnight UTC. The size of the allowance may change; the amount shown in the Service applies.
- Online plan. USD 7.99 per month, or USD 59 per year. While subscribed, each allowance month includes 30 tarot readings and 5 in-depth readings; yearly plans also reset once a month. Unused readings do not roll over to the next month.
- Credit packs. USD 2.99 buys 10 credits. Credits never expire and stay on your account even if you cancel a subscription. A tarot reading uses 1 credit; an in-depth reading uses 3.
- Order of use. The daily free allowance is used first, then your subscription's monthly readings, and credits last. If a reading fails to generate because of an error on our side, the reading or credits it used are returned automatically.
- Payment and renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Cloud menu under Credits & subscription, then Manage, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices are shown in US dollars on the checkout page; your card issuer may add a currency conversion fee.
- If we change prices or allowances, we will announce it in the Service in advance. A period you have already paid for is not affected.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- use scripts, scrapers or automation to request readings in bulk, or work around allowance or payment limits;
- reverse engineer, attack or disrupt the Service, or try to access anyone else's data;
- resell the Service or its output, or repackage it as your own paid service;
- use someone else's birth details or the friend invitation feature to harass, stalk or humiliate anyone;
- break the law where you live in any other way.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Any payments involved are handled under the Refund Policy.
Your content and ours
- Anything you write into the Service (questions, notes, records, answers) remains yours. You allow us to store and process it in order to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are free to use, keep and share the readings generated for you for personal purposes.
- The Service's software, text, artwork and design belong to us and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Changes to the Service
We may add, change or remove features. If we ever shut down the Service entirely, we will announce it in the Service at least 30 days in advance and refund unused paid credits on a pro rata basis.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suited to your particular needs, and we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using or being unable to use it. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If a dispute arises, please write to us first; we will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If that fails, the dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Malaysia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you in the Service before any significant change takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
